When you think of the Northern Territory (NT), your mind may jump to sizzling temperatures in the high thirties and national parks crawling with snakes, spiders and saltwater crocodiles. Well you are right, but NT actually has a lot to offer us nurses!
PAY RATES - Nurses are in demand within Australia, particularly in the NT. The city of Darwin has less than 150,000 people and therefore needs you! With that, comes an lovely increased pay rate, particularly for agency nurses!
NEW CULTURES - NT also hosts many opportunities for nurses to work in remote areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience nursing care 'off the beaten track' and help rural communities. Rural placements often offer a variety of incentives these may include: free accommodation/travel, training bonus' and a hefty pay packet!
WINTER SUN - During the Aussie winter when cities such as Sydney and Melbourne can become a little chilly, why don’t you go and grab some winter sun in NT and keep the sun shining all year round!
AN AUSSIE ADVENTURE - NT is home to some of the most breathtaking and largest National Parks in the whole of Australia. Feed the 5m crocodiles on the Adelaide river, feast at the Darwin night markets and experience some of most impressive sunsets you’ll possibly ever see!
